Intern - Tax Specialist

What You'll Do:

In this role, the Intern will get the opportunity to learn the fundamental functions and responsibilities of tax department! You will assist team members with tax return preparation and special projects, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of assignments, including:

• Collecting and reviewing data for small Federal 1120 tax returns.

• Analyzing State apportionment and various State LLC filings.

• Ensuring compliance with property tax regulations.

• Conducting Boycott reporting and FBAR Bank Accounting analysis.

• Performing Merchandise Contribution analysis.

• Completing monthly indirect tax compliance filings.

• Analyzing monthly Taxes Paid and withholdings.

• Assisting with the Sales Tax compliance.

• Assisting in the preparation of Form 990 for Charitable Foundations.

• Engaging in various Foreign Tax Return to Provision analysis.

What You'll Bring:

• Currently pursuing an accredited degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related major, with at least one quarter or semester remaining after June 2025.

• Available to work part-time hours, up to 15 hours per week, in-person at our Pawtucket, RI office location from February 2025 through June 2025

• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Desire to adapt and learn, embracing Hasbro's core values of Passion, Integrity, Creativity, Community and Inclusion.

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships through teamwork and leadership skills.

• Willingness to take initiative, developing processes and reports relating to Hasbro business.

Candidates are responsible for their own housing & transportation (FREE Parking). Hasbro headquarters in Pawtucket, RI is 1.3 mi from the South Attleboro, MA commuter rail station, and we offer shuttle service.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

• Starting Pay Range: $29/hour

• Pay Range End: $29/hour
