Localization Specialist

Your Role

• Research: Work on the localization process to improve the existing process and output
• Quality Assessment: Evaluate localization writers’ output and suggest changes to meet the quality requirements
• Stakeholder Management: Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the completion of localization as per plan
• Proactive Problem Solver: Come up with creative solutions to balance the speed of production and quality

Minimum Requirements

• Prior experience as a localization writer
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
• Strong command of the English language
• Good grasp of AI tools like ChaptGPT, Claude, etc.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface comfortably with people at all levels
• Great judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and care
• Fast and avid reader with a deep knowledge of contemporary commercial fiction
