YOUR ROLE

As an Operations Manager on our team, you’ll direct and coordinate activities of Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials Departments to manufacture and deliver products to APTIV Automotive customers.

In your daily job, you will:

• Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products produced.  Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data. (Daily).
• Responsibility: Plans and directs production activities, establishing production priorities for products by effective operations and cost factors
• Coordinates production activities with materials, maintenance, and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.  Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.                                   
• Comply with the policies of Quality (ISO-TS 16949: 2009), Security, Environmental (ISO 14001: 2004)
• Manage and monitor plant SQDIP
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes for nonconformity with product specifications, operating and production problems.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, and industrial administration
• Proficiency in English level
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in the automotive industry (preferred)
• Financial knowledge: budgets, profit and loss, unit price analysis, etc.
• Engineering knowledge
• Quality knowledge: IATF, problem solving
• Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
• Leadership
