About The Role:
Ziff Davis Shopping is looking for a Platform Operations Associate who will assist the Platform Operations team in running multiple digital savings properties, including RetailMeNot.com and Offers.com. We are seeking a self starter who is passionate about the online shopping space and knows how to optimize the user experience. You will demonstrate impressive attention to detail, an aptitude to learn quickly and a strong desire to optimize systems and processes.
What You’ll Do - Responsibilities:
Complete inbound requests related to offer and merchant maintenance, using multiple content management systems and databases
Assist in developing content optimization strategies and processes that align with business objectives
Maintain and manage backend systems that power commerce on multiple platforms
Work with Product team to identify bugs and areas for improvement for those platforms
Work with Product and Engineering teams to define and launch new products and platforms
Assist in training, monitoring and coaching both onshore and offshore teams on new and existing processes and platforms
Document, organize, and facilitate feedback from across multiple teams, including Merchandising, Product, SEO and Sales
Measure and report on KPIs related to content and tactical performance
Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to team leads
Document workflow processes to maintain an up-to-date operations wiki
Ad hoc cross functional projects
Support merchant affiliate link management and maintenance across multiple business units
Who You Are - Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or digital publishing
Comfortable working in multiple content management systems and platforms
A demonstrated interest in content management systems and databases that drive actionable feedback for operational improvements
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
Comfortable with change and ambiguity and willing to embrace it as exciting opportunity
Creative critical thinker and problem solver
Keen attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Business knowledge of retail concepts and metrics
Experienced with GSuite, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
Experience with Tableau or similar reporting databases
Affiliate marketing, Salesforce and JIRA experience are a plus
Experience helping others learn new concepts
