AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Principal Designer - Architecture for their Bangalore/Gurgaon office. This role is fundamental to AECOM's 'Think and Act Globally' strategy and digital adoption, acting as the primary vehicle for workshare. The Enterprise Capabilities team partners with regional and global business line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery, and maintain competitiveness. With over 3000 technical professionals across nine countries, EC teams deliver specialist services to fill capability gaps and meet project needs.
Must have:
  • Experience delivering Architecture Design projects in private or public sectors.
  • Familiarity with design, tender, and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, SketchUp.
  • Proficiency in rendering software like Lumion/Enscape/Twinmotion.
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture/Diploma in Architecture with relevant experience.
  • Logical and organized approach to project delivery.
  • Ability to follow instructions from senior team members.
Good to have:
  • International experience in UK, Middle East, or APAC regions.
  • Advanced experience in BIM related software for Landscape Design/Infrastructure works.
  • Chartered status.

Job Description

  • Must have good experience delivering Architecture Design projects in the private or public sectors.
  • Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes. International experience of the UK, Middle East or APAC regions will be considered an added advantage.
  • Must be proficient in, but not limited to, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), MS Office, SketchUp, and rendering softwares like Lumion/ Enscape/ Twinmotion. Advanced experience of BIM related software in Landscape Design/ Infrastructure works will be considered an added advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree holders in Architecture/Diploma - Architecture will be considered, if they can showcase relevant experience in Architecture BIM Design project stages including design, documentation and site implementation.
  • Applicants are required to have between 11+ years of experience in relevant field .
  • Chartered candidates shall have an added advantage.
  • Have a logical and organized approach to project delivery and able to follow instructions and guidance by senior team members.
