Search Client Experience Specialist (English, Italian)

Job Description

As a Search Specialist within the EMEA team, you will own the Search strategy for key clients across the entire business cycle for clients in the Italian market. You will drive Search Excellence with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams activating new products to drive performance. You will advise clients on growing their business and maximizing return on their marketing investment. You will act as an advisor and consultant working across functions and alongside global teams, and as a client advocate within Google. Responsibilities include managing a book of business, working with in-country teams (planning, pitching, implementing, and optimizing campaigns), diving into client business objectives to lead conversations on holistic search strategies, developing and applying market and industry knowledge, working with cross-functional teams to drive account growth, and driving conversations on measurement and attribution of Search media.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years digital media/marketing experience
  • 1+ year client relationship/account management experience
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Search campaign management experience
  • Proactive, ownership of accounts and KPIs
  • Data analysis and investigative skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with Ads (Search), SA360, or other SEM platforms

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • 1 year of experience working in a customer relationship development, account management, media consulting, client/stakeholder management, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with campaign management either in Ads (preferably Search), SA360 or other SEM platforms.
  • Ability to be proactive, take ownership of accounts, deliverables and KPIs.
  • Ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance.
  • Excellent investigative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business as a Search Specialist, working across the business cycle with in-country teams (e.g., plan, pitch, implement and optimize).
  • Dive into the client’s business objectives and work with them to lead the conversation on a holistic search strategy to drive performance and the right investment.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of market and industry in solutions offered and an understanding of products and tools.
  • Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short and long-term account growth.
  • Drive conversations on measurement and attribution (along with the Measurement and Attribution specialist) of Search media.
