Job Description

Join SimCorp's Global Customer Programs team as a Senior Event Marketing Consultant. This role is crucial for leading the evolution of financial technology by managing and executing virtual and in-person customer programs. Responsibilities include project management of flagship industry events for clients, prospects, and partners, planning internal meetings, and assisting with marketing materials for industry events. You will manage and drive projects in APAC and EMEA regions, handle stakeholders internally and externally, maintain project timelines, coordinate operational functions, and ensure efficient delivery of high-quality events and services for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in event and project management, be familiar with event management systems, and possess strong communication skills.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

You will join SimCorp’s Global Customer Programs team which is responsible for SimCorp’s virtual and in-person customer programs. The position covers the project management of SimCorp’s flagship industry events for clients, prospects and partners. In addition, you will plan internal meetings and assist with marketing material for the industry events SimCorp is attending.  

As our new Events Marketing Consultant, you will manage and carry out marketing and promotional activities to increase the awareness of the SimCorp brand and our conversions. In this role you will apply practical project and stakeholder management skills and high service level standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR  

  • Manage and drive projects and tasks leading up to events in the APAC and EMEA regions 
  • Manage stakeholders internally and externally 
  • Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project  
  • Manage and carry out smaller events by yourself  
  • Coordinate with operational and administrative functions to ensure that the events are delivered efficiently  
  • Ensure delivery of high quality and service for our clients  

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Experience with managing events  
  • Experience in project management  
  • Familiar with event management systems and online interaction tools, such as slido.com, mentimeter.com, Cvent, Eventbuizz etc., but more important is your readiness to learn new systems and tools  
  • Experience in an international environment  
  • Be good at handling multiple tasks and setting priorities in a busy environment
  • Be a good communicator, and speak and write English fluently, as English is our corporate language and all marketing activities are in English  
  • Be ready to travel (on average a few days a month), mainly to cities in Europe  
  • Be ready to attend meetings outside the standard time zone, as the role covers both the EMEA and APAC region.
