ABOUT THE POSITION

• Create stunning real-time visual effects for games and cinematics using a mastery of high-quality particle effects, meshes, textures, and shaders.
• Optimize effects for performance.
• Work with our leads and supervisors to ensure the technical and artistic quality of deliverables.
• Work with the lead to support the team in meeting objectives by articulating an FX’s artistic and technical needs.
• Support in establishing a real-time VFX production pipeline in coordination with clients’ requirements.
• Provide technical expertise to decide which technologies to pursue and avoid.

• At least 2 years’ experience as a real-time VFX artist with hands-on technical and artistic experience in Unreal Engine, Unity, or a comparable game engine.
• Highly skilled with Photoshop or Affinity, Maya, and or 3DS Max, and Blender.
• Strong at creating textures by either hand-painting or simulation.
• Highly organized individual with an eye for details and a passion for sharing and mentoring.
• Killer portfolio with a number of beautiful projects or artworks included.
• Good working knowledge of English.
• Do play video games.

Preferred:

• Experience with other content creation software: Embergen, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, After Effects.
• Experience with Houdini and dynamic simulations.
• English proficiency is preferred.
