Software Engineer

Role Summary
Design, develop and test software fixes, enhancements, components, and applications on an Army Intel and cyber training program.

Responsibilities

• Development of software components through all lifecycle phases. Full stack development.
• Develop software that meets requirements and design specifications.
• Develop requirements and designs for assigned work.

• Proficiency in Java for backend development and Angular for dynamic frontend user interfaces.
• Experience with Electron Applications, Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Hydra or PM IS&A Systems beneficial
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure, scalable web applications in a full stack environment.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and databased integration (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience using Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC).
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Git-based repositories, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of software vulnerability remediation and system hardening beneficial.

• Eligible for Department of Defense Security Clearance; Active Secret clearance or higher, TS/SCI preferred.
