Value-Added Services & Safety Supervisor

Hasbro SA, based in Delemont Switzerland, manufactures and sells Hasbro toy and games products around the world. Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries.  Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe Hasbro Iberia SL provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in Spain and Portugal.

We are seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing shipping and value-added service operations while leading the Health & Safety (H&S) area of the distribution center. This role ensures all tasks are completed on time, meet quality standards, and comply with health and safety regulations. The Supervisor will also drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing lean principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Value-Added Service Coordination:

• Coordinate the workload for value-added services such as building displays, labeling, and D2C.
• Develop and maintain a production plan for value-added services to meet customer commitments.
• Monitor the quality of value-added services and implement corrective actions as needed.

Health and Safety Management:

• Act as the primary contact for health and safety matters within the distribution center.
• Ensure all health and safety documentation is current and accessible.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Train staff on health and safety procedures and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Order Preparation Coordination:

• Organize and prioritize customer order preparation workload to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
• Monitor order fulfillment processes and resolve any issues that arise.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives within the distribution center.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement efforts.

General Duties:

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to distribution center activities.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Certifications:

• Certification in lean principles or related continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordinating role.
