Job Description

As an Account Manager in Google's Large Customer Sales team, you'll work with major advertisers and agencies in the finance industry, developing digital solutions to boost their businesses. You'll provide expert client service, leveraging your knowledge of online media and Google's advertising products. Your responsibilities include proactively identifying and solving client problems, building strong customer relationships, educating clients on new product features, and using data-driven insights to develop growth plans. You'll analyze trends, make recommendations to maximize campaign results, and grow cross-channel advertising business. Success hinges on your ability to consult effectively, understand digital marketing, and become a trusted partner in your clients' success, ultimately driving business growth for both the client and Google. The role necessitates a deep understanding of Google Ads and the broader digital advertising landscape.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years online sales/business development experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis and strategic planning abilities
  • Proactive problem-solving and client service
  • Grow advertising cross-channel business
Good to have:
  • 3+ years experience with Google Ads
  • Online ad sales experience
  • Leadership and teamwork skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in online sales, business development, digital advertising, marketing, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working with Google Ads.
  • Experience working with online ad sales.
  • Ability to work under pressure and show dedication to client services.
  • Ability to complete quality work.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, people, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

As an Account Manager, you will play the role of a consultant providing solutions to improve the business of your assigned clients or to solve their business challenges. You will make recommendations to the clients on how they can develop their business by making better use of digital, especially in marketing, thereby becoming a trusted partner and contributing to the client's success. Client's success will ultimately lead to business for the team and Google. You will learn Google's products fully and in a timely manner, and understand digital marketing, to utilize it in the business activity.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to Google's advertisers. Identify and solve client problems proactively.
  • Build relationships with customers and educate them on new product features.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results.
  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data-driven POVs and recommendations that align with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to develop plans and prepare compelling narratives to drive growth.
