This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving product adoption and growth for mid-market businesses in China. Responsibilities include developing business strategies, managing multiple accounts, improving client relationships, achieving sales goals, providing consultative advice on advertising ROI, and implementing creative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills in Mandarin and English, experience in sales or marketing within a technology environment, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A deep understanding of Google Ads and YouTube account management is highly beneficial. The role requires collaborating closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop targeted advertising strategies to reach thousands of users.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years sales/marketing experience
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple accounts
  • Drive business growth and product adoption
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube
  • Experience in technology, advertising, or media sales
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with sales in a technology, advertising, media sales, or internet environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Ability to grow in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customers business driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve the agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Manage business growth and productivity goals, and drive in quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with account strategist.
