Summary

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Injection Molding) at Mattel is a hands-on role responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing equipment and processes for high-quality injection-molded products. This includes coordinating molding efforts for new program launches, setting up and revising manufacturing processes, and assisting in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves monitoring process effectiveness, quantifying results, documenting findings, and preparing reports. Mentoring and training other injection molding personnel are also key responsibilities. The engineer will be involved in molding FMEA, tolerance application, defining mold features, and evaluating feedback from production and suppliers to initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years Injection Molding experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Molding FMEA and tolerance application knowledge
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement skills

Job Description:

  1. Injection Molding Engineer is a "hands-on" position that plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high quality injection molded product.
  2. Responsible for coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes and assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements.
  3. Monitoring the effectiveness of processes this individual quantifies results, documents and presents findings to management and prepares reports.
  4. Mentors and provides training to other injection molding personnel.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical is required. Must have at least 3-5 years of practical work experience in an Injection Molding Operation
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  3. Involve in molding FMEA and tolerances application
  4. Define Mold features, and injection molding machine size.
  5. Evaluate feedback from production and supplier to initiate corrective and preventive actions (cost breakdown, problem solving, troubleshooting)
  6. Validate 3D Molds design for layout and mold studies acceptance
  7. Willing to work in Cikarang-Bekasi
