Job Details
- Deliver data requests in a timely manner, including but not limited to data extraction, data analysis, data solutions and data visualization
- Provide advice on best practices for data extraction methods, ensuring reliability and accuracy
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and studies into problems raised by business teams
- Drive the problem-solving process by suggesting hypotheses and corresponding data solutions
- Collaborate with Data Scientists on machine learning models to gain deeper insights into user behaviors
- Design and build data pipelines to streamline the retrieval and analysis of key information
- Address and fulfill other ad-hoc data requests from Garena teams as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a reputable university
- At least 1 year of experience in a data-related field is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome to apply
- Strong in SQL or Python, with good knowledge of statistical modeling and basic understanding of machine learning with prior working experience
- Keen interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to explore and suggest potential AI-driven solutions to enhance and optimize business processes
- Strong logical thinking with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude
- Quick to learn and adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and passion in the gaming industry is a plus
- Passionate about games in general with at least an entry-level knowledge of the gaming industry
