GoDaddy is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance to employees in their Belgrade, Serbia office. This is an in-office, full-time position. The role involves supporting the Employee Technology Team by resolving technical issues via chat, screen share, telephone, and in-person. Responsibilities include assisting new employees, contractors, and vendors with their technical needs, maintaining high customer satisfaction, supporting critical issues, and acting as the local contact for productivity tools like M365 and Slack. The technician will also help with onboarding technical issues and updating support processes with knowledge material.
Must have:
  • Microsoft Windows desktop administration and networking expertise
  • Mac and Windows OS platform troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, and Audio/Visual conferencing
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting (workstations, laptops, printers)
  • Experience with Cisco phones/VOIP software
  • Understanding of IT Security/Anti-Virus, VPN, and provisioning
  • Outstanding English verbal and written skills
Good to have:
  • 2+ years experience supporting technical and customer-facing employees
  • Proficiency in MSFT Intune
  • Proficiency in JAMF

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is an in-office position and you’ll be expected to work full-time in an office location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.

The Employee Technology Team plays a critical role in providing technical assistance through chat, screen share and telephone as well as in person support for employees in our Belgrade office in Serbia! As part of this team, you will support GoDaddy's Employee Technology Manager in resolving technical issues for employees, contractors, and vendors. This team member will also play a crucial role in assisting and supporting the technical needs of all new employees, contractors, and vendors! This team member’s primary shift will be 09:00 – 17:30 CET Monday through Friday and on occasion will need to adjust their schedule as determined by the needs of the business.

What you'll get to do...

  • Maintain an outstanding level of customer happiness within the business as it relates to support services
  • Support the GET Help (Internal technical support) team with critical issues advanced by our level team in addition to supporting the GET Engineering team with assessing device management, VDI and networking issues
  • Be the local contact for issues regarding productivity tools – M365, Slack, Atlassian, etc.
  • Support team members with onboarding technical issues with a focus on vendors and BPO users
  • Update and develop support processes while creating and editing knowledge material Ex(Vendor and BPO related)

Your experience should include...

  • Expertise using and resolving Microsoft Windows desktop administration and networking as well as fixing Mac and Windows OS platforms
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, and Audio/Visual for conferencing is critical in this role
  • Experience with use and addressing workstation and laptop hardware, Cisco phones/VOIP software, and printers
  • Understanding of use and resolving business grade IT Security/Anti-Virus, VPN, and on site and remote provisioning
  • Outstanding English skills – both verbal and written

You might also have...

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting Technical and Customer Facing employees in the office and remote, SLA driven environments
  • Proficiency in MSFT Intune and JAMF is helpful
