Xsolla is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Regional Marketing for the Middle East & Africa. This role will collaborate with the Chief Marketing & Growth Officer, Product, PR, Digital, and Events teams to develop strategic marketing plans for Xsolla's products, solutions, and programs tailored for the video game community in the Middle East and Africa. The ideal candidate will have regional and localized marketing experience in generating and executing campaigns for video game or fintech-related products. Responsibilities include collaborating with global marketing and local business development teams, developing quarterly go-to-market plans, creating localized offerings, managing key deliverables, communications, and reporting using online, social media, and advertising tools. The role also involves project management across teams, partners, and customers.
Must have:
  • 5-8+ years in marketing/commercial roles in gaming/fintech in EMEA, Middle East, or Africa
  • Proven track record of marketing and operational excellence
  • Extensive experience with Atlassian Suite and Google Suite
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple cultures and backgrounds

ABOUT YOU
We are hiring a talented and experienced Director of Regional Marketing to join our global marketing team at Xsolla! This leader will partner with our Chief Marketing & Growth Officer (CM&GO), Product, PR, Digital and Events Teams to make the strategic marketing plans for the Xsolla Products, Solutions and Programs tailored for the video game community in the Middle East and Africa.

A successful candidate will have the regional and localized marketing experience of generating and executing campaigns to market video game related and/or fintech related products, solutions and programs in the global market place. The individual will need to be successful at working individually and collaboratively in an evolving and fluid environment within the dynamic global marketing, regional business development and customer service teams and product teams around the world. In addition, you are incredibly organized and able to strategically work on multiple projects simultaneously to liaise with our key stakeholders around the world to achieve key growth and KPI targets.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the global marketing and local business development teams to generate unique and localized lead generating campaigns to drive growth for the organization across the Middle East and Africa;
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic go-to-market plans on a quarterly basis aimed at achieving our annual KPIs and growth targets;
  • Create Localized Offerings: Generate programs and campaigns in local languages and offerings specific to the Middle East and Africa
  • Ownership of Key Deliverables: Work alongside of the development, supporting teams to complete associated deliverables, and working collaboratively to prepare presentations and internal communications updates for key stakeholders;
  • Manage Communications: Work with key stakeholders to build internal and external communications to help launch, market and distribute our solutions to the market place;
  • Measurement and Reporting Using Key Tools: Manage our internal reporting and tracking of progress and performance of our Go-to-Market plans in the Middle East and Africa including but not limited to online, social media and advertising tools;
  • Project Management: Partner across the organization relevant to your programs with key stakeholders, ecosystem partners and customers.

Qualifications & Skills
  • 5-8+ years of marketing and commercial roles within the gaming and/or fintech businesses in EMEA, the Middle East and/or Africa;
  • Proven track record of marketing and operational excellence;
  • Extensive experience using and operating in the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Atlas) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.);
  • Highly organized, make sure nothing falls through the cracks;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels (including executive leadership team, peers, managers and junior staff) from different cultures and backgrounds from around the world;
  • Embody the attitude needed to support an agile working environment (including respect, collaboration, improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value and continuous improvement);
  • Possess broad strategic business knowledge;
  • Excellent financial and operational modeling skills;
  • Comfortable navigating in a growing and changing organization, identifying and engaging with teams and individuals;
  • Ability to see where improvements can be made and problem solving;
  • Confidence and competence to take responsibility to make decisions and the self-restraint to know when decisions are not immediately needed;
  • Enjoy working with data and fluent in a variety of analytical tools;
  • Expertise in leading complex projects across teams and organizations;
  • Highest level of ability to manage confidential information;
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally - up to 30-40%.
