The Electronics Repair Technician will be responsible for repairing a wide range of electrical parts for gaming machines. This includes identifying, troubleshooting, and analyzing electrical faults using blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams. The role requires proficiency with various test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes), maintaining accurate repair records, collaborating with team members, and adhering to safety regulations. The technician will work with components such as computers, laptops, LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies, and ticket printers. The position demands strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, along with expertise in using various software and tools.
Must have:
  • Certificate IV in electronics repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience in electronic component-level repair
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with repair tools and test equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good to have:
  • Associate degree in electronic engineering technology

As an Electronics Repair Technician you will be responsible for repairing a wide range of electrical parts for our gaming machines. You will identify, troubleshoot and analyse electrical faults in a diverse and wide range of parts, utilising blue prints, technical drawings and wiring diagrams to find the root cause and conduct all required repairs.

What You'll Do

  • Electronic repairs of a range of part such as computers, laptops, LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies and ticket printers
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and analyse electrical faults using blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Diagnosing faults using an array of test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Maintain accurate repair records using electronic repair reporting programs
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely repairs
  • Adhere to company safety regulations and electronic code requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate IV or equivalent in electronic repair; associate degree in electronic engineering technology preferred.

  • Proven experience as an electronic technician with component-level repair skills

  • Knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, and repair equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.

  • Proficient with manual and power tools for repair work.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, inventory management systems, and electronic repair reporting programs.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
