Job Description

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for developing and closing business with accounts through partners. Responsibilities include closing sales opportunities, collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell, and close transactions. Tasks involve developing and closing business, leveraging partners for sales, cold calling, upselling to existing customers, and forecasting in Salesforce. The role requires experience in enterprise sales and relevant technologies, with a focus on IT infrastructure specialists.
Must have:
  • Enterprise sales experience within the public/private sector
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud, and SaaS technologies
  • Experience selling through channel and direct
  • Track record of selling to IT infrastructure specialists
  • Ability to develop new sales
  • Be a self-starter and quick learner
  • Be a high-energy salesperson
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with 50% travel
  • Current full driving license
  • Business proficient language skills in German & English

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for developing/closing business with a number of accounts in their assigned account list through working with the partner sales community. The primary focus is aimed at closing sales opportunities and is achieved by collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions.  

Your tasks will include: 

  • Develop and close business with within the public or private sector  
  • Leverage partners to close sales with their end customers   
  • Cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new high-segment accounts   
  • Up-sell and cross-sell to the existing customer base   
  • Forecasts and account/opportunity details in Salesforce  
  • Propose, coordinate and participate to marketing activities in Germany

What we expect from you: 

  • Enterprise sales experience within the public and/or private sector
  • Experience with vendors associated to Virtualization, Cloud & SaaS technology
  • Have an experience of selling through channel and direct   
  • Track record of accomplishment selling in the public and private market to IT infrastructure specialists  
  • Proven ability to develop new sales   
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly  
  • Be a high-energy salesperson  
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly  
  • Be comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time.  
  • Current full driving license   
  • Business proficient language skills in German & English
