About the Internship

#dreamUXstaz is a paid four-month internship for future UX designers who want to grow, improve their skills, and become professionals. You will create designs for real screens, hand over outputs to developers, and learn how UX works in live operation.

How we imagine you:

• you already have some experience with UX/UI (e.g., a smaller project, freelance, school, previous internship),
• you master the basics in Figma (components, autolayout, design systems are an advantage),
• you have an eye for detail and a sense for clean, functional design,
• you can collaborate in a team and communicate effectively with developers and analysts,
• you live in Prague and can commute at least twice a week to our offices in Chodov – we have space for you here!

What we offer:

• 180 CZK/hour in the form of a work performance agreement (DPČ)
• 4 months of real-world experience (starting August 1, 2025)
• Work on real projects – no practice tasks
• Creation of complete pixel-perfect screens for web and mobile applications
• Close collaboration with the development team – your designs will go directly into production
• Mentoring from experienced designers, regular feedback
• Possibility to continue as a junior designer after the internship (full-time employment)

How you will work:

• Our office is in Chodov – we are together there at least twice a week
• If it suits you, you can come more often – we welcome it
• The rest of the work is up to you – remote & flexible
• We work in Figma, use component libraries and procedures that will prepare you for reality in the team

What we expect from you:

• you know that UX is your path, and you want to grow in it,
• you can design a screen that not only looks good but also makes sense,
• you have basic knowledge and healthy self-criticism,
• you are not afraid to ask, admit mistakes, and look for better solutions,
• you are eager to dive into real work, invest time, and work on yourself,
• you can be active 3-5 days a week, at least 24 hours/week,
• you are looking for real experience, not just another item for your CV.

Do you want to stand out from the crowd? Send a sample example that will:

• Contain a sample page of a fictional application (don't worry about texts, just put Lorem Ipsum)
• The page will contain a table (e.g., 5 columns and at least 10 rows)
• In the table, I can easily change column widths and add more rows.
• The table will be created from components from a library (separate file), ideally using Design System Management (your own/community).
• UI doesn't matter much; in this example, you will show your abilities and how you think when creating components in Figma.
