Job Description
Invenio is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions. The role involves identifying, interpreting, validating, and documenting customer requirements, mapping client business needs to SAP solutions, and designing, customizing, configuring, and testing ABAP solutions. Responsibilities include identifying gaps, troubleshooting software issues, handling urgent transports, documenting functional designs and test cases, and proactively proposing business process improvements. The consultant will work with stakeholders to drive change and create agile organizations using technology.
Must have:
- 3-6 years SAP AMS Support or full cycle implementation experience
- Core ABAP: Reports, ALV, BDC, BAPI, Enhancements, User Exits, Smart-Forms
- Good Debugging Skills
- Advanced ABAP: BTE, BADI, OOPS, Performance Tuning
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Ability to write Technical specifications
- S4 HANA Exposure & knowledge of SQL, CDS Views
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and innovation
- Ability to work in a team
Good to have:
- Basic knowledge of SAP FICO module
- Experience in SAP Support projects
- Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Strong time management

Role – SAP ABAP Consultant
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client's needs.
- Design, customize, configure and test ABAP solutions.
- Identify gaps, and issues and work around solutions.
- Act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Handle changes or emergency transport as needed for high-priority issues.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results.

Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in SAP AMS Support project or in SAP full cycle implementation project.
- Should know Core ABAP - Reports, ALV Interactive, BDC, BAPI, I Enhancements, User Exits, Smart-Forms and Scripts Designing, Good Debugging Skills, transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code and do basic unit testing.
- Advanced ABAP - BTE, BADI, OOPS, Performance Tuning.
- Basic knowledge of the SAP FICO module is desirable.
- Should have worked on Support Incidents, Tickets and Change Requests.
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to write Technical specifications.
- S4 HANA Exposure & knowledge of SQL, CDS Views
- Work experience in the SAP Support project would be desirable.
