The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies for Fi Money's digital products, aligning with user acquisition and financial product adoption goals. This includes staying updated with algorithm changes, conducting technical SEO audits, optimizing content and metadata, managing off-page SEO activities like link-building, and performing keyword research. The role requires collaboration with content, design, and development teams, monitoring SEO performance, managing projects, and educating internal teams on SEO best practices.
Must have:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an SEO Specialist
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms
  • Expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page optimization
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in a fast-paced product or fintech company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or Communications
  • Up-to-date with latest SEO and digital marketing trends

What you'll do as an SEO Manager
-Develop, execute, and refine comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to Fi Money's digital products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals for user acquisition and financial product adoption.
-Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes and industry best practices, proactively adapting strategies to maintain and improve Fi Money's organic search visibility and rankings.
-Conduct thorough technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and page speed.
-Optimize website content, metadata, and landing pages for targeted keywords to enhance on-page SEO performance.
-Implement and manage effective off-page SEO activities, including link-building campaigns, outreach, and digital PR to boost domain authority and organic visibility.
-Perform ongoing keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and gaps relevant to fintech and financial products.
-Collaborate closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital assets and product launches.
-Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using analytics tools; provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
-Manage SEO projects and initiatives, prioritizing tasks and delivering results within set timelines.
-Educate and guide internal teams on SEO trends, strategies, and performance metrics to foster a culture of SEO best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
-Proven experience (3+ years) as an SEO Specialist, preferably within a fast-paced product or fintech company.
-Deep understanding of current search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
-Expertise in technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimization techniques.
-Proficiency with industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
-Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategy.
-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO implementations.
-Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to articulate complex SEO concepts to cross-functional teams.
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field preferred.
-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.

This is an onsite role based out of our Brookfield office.
