Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description

What will you do:

• Automation Development: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, and frameworks such as Springboot and React.
• Database Management: Proficiently manage databases including MongoDB and SQL Server. Implement database automation processes for backup, recovery, and data manipulation tasks.
• API Integration: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between various systems and applications. Ensure compatibility and adherence to industry standards.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve automation-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted support services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Support, Development, and Operations to identify automation opportunities, streamline workflows, and improve system performance.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for automation processes, scripts, and configurations. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for reference.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within the support infrastructure. Implement enhancements and optimizations to increase efficiency and productivity.

What makes you qualified?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, and related frameworks such as Springboot and React.
• Strong understanding of database management systems including MongoDB and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
