Job Description

The Solution Sales Specialist - Unified, Customer Success role at Microsoft focuses on empowering customers to accelerate business value through successful adoption and management of Microsoft technology. Responsibilities include orchestrating virtual teams, assessing customer needs, developing sales strategies, fostering relationships with key decision-makers, and identifying new Unified opportunities. This role requires leading the planning and execution of Unified opportunities, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and managing solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will be sales-oriented, a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and possess strong collaboration skills. The position involves cross-selling and up-selling Unified services, working closely with the Customer Success Unit.

In the Unified Specialist team we are looking for passionate, experienced, and credible specialist sellers with a drive for developing and winning strategic opportunities that empower customers to accelerate business value through successful adoption, deployment and management of Microsoft technology. As a Sales Specialist you will lead consultative customer conversations and collaborate on the planning, orchestration and execution of end-to-end Unified services opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell. This opportunity will allow you to learn and accelerate your career growth, honing your solution sales and collaboration skills and become adept at deal structuring.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven years of technology-related sales, account management and/or services sales experience​
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND a few years of technology-related sales or account management experience.​
  • Proven years of solution or services sales experience.

Additional Qualifications

  • Sales oriented person: organized, creative and who likes to meet customers, to understand their challenges and to find solutions with them
  • Experience in service or consultancy sales would be considered as a strong asset
  • Learner: someone who likes to keep learning new things whether via courses or on the job
  • Orchestrator: We are looking for someone who can lead and coach a virtual team up to the achievement of a common objective.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop sales and business strategy
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, financial acumen, written, and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
  • Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations
  • Collaborative approach working across functions
  • Growth Mindset: Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving and learning.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: You will Orchestrate a virtual team and assess customer needs to develop strategies that proactively build a stakeholder network to accelerate and close Unified opportunities.​
  • Business Value Selling: You will foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision makers. Renew existing contracts as well as hunting new Unified opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of Unified solutions.​
  • Scaling and Collaboration: You will lead the planning, orchestration and execution of Unified opportunities with internal stakeholders to cross-sell and up-sell, including close collaboration with the Customer Success Unit responsible of delivering the Unified Services to customers
  • Sales Excellence: You will lead and plan for accounts across territories, do compete plans and business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and manages Unified solutions across the organization
  • Participate in internal Microsoft sales communities and in the broader industry through in-person events, Teams sites, community gatherings and more.
