The Team & Role

Zuora provides a platform for managing subscription-based businesses, handling billing, invoicing, and payments. It also integrates with accounting systems as a sub-ledger for subscription revenue. Key functions include automating recurring billing, managing revenue recognition, and providing financial reports.

<strong>WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE</strong>

<ul> <li>As a Full Stack Developer, you will be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development framework(s) and third-party libraries to produce scalable software solutions.&nbsp;</li> <li>You are a team player with a knack for effective UI and user experience designs.&nbsp;</li> <li>You will manage the full life cycle of custom development projects from conception to the final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li> <li>To be successful in this role, you will need strong knowledge of programming languages, software development life cycle, and Agile methodologies.</li> <li>Design and develop highly flexible common components and APIs that enable product customizability and extensibility.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product management, user experience (UX), Implementation teams, and Product Marketing to solve roadblocks, conflicts, and ambiguity.</li> <li>Understand the needs of users and build products that are intuitive and easy to use.</li> <li>Write tests for your own code, develop and ship high-quality software</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong></p> <ul> <li>BTech/BE/BS Computer Engineering discipline or relevant degree&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>4+ years of experience specializing in full-stack software development</li> <li>Experience in software design patterns (E.g: solid principles)</li> <li>Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, excellent knowledge of Javascript, Jquery, MVC architecture and OOP programming style.</li> <li>Ability to pick and use Javascript Frameworks</li> <li>Backbone / Angular / EmberJs / NodeJs knowledge of version control systems like GIT.</li> <li>Working knowledge of modern web technologies including cloud-based APIs and protocols (REST, JSON)</li> <li>Understanding of microservices frameworks (Spring Boot or Dropwizard)</li> <li>Experience developing apps on a PaaS with database and object modeling skills</li> <li>Passion for exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies</li> <li>Excellent Problem Solving and communication skills</li> <li>Passion for exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Key Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in system design with a focus on scalable architecture</li> <li>Awareness of the trade-offs in design and technology decisions to deliver value without compromising on simplicity or performance.</li> <li>Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounting would be a plus.</li> </ul> <p>#ZEOLife at Zuora</p> <p>As an industry pioneer, our work is constantly evolving and challenging us in new ways that require us to think differently, iterate often and learn constantly—it’s exciting.
