Xentrix Studios is hiring Sr. Texture Artists to join our production team in Bangalore. We require talented men and women who show exceptional understanding of surface qualities, lighting and shading concepts, detailing, composition, color, form, and scale. The position offers a chance to work in a creative environment to produce Textures for children’s animated TV series, Feature Films, Theme Parks and Games. We are all set to welcome artists who will contribute with their skills and provide ideas for creating stunning visuals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Texture as per the established designs and produce an accurate translation of the design reference.

The Textures need to meet the creative requirements of the Production Designer and/or Art Director and/or client.

It’s important that the Texture should satisfy the technical needs of the CG department and be efficient, reliable and to the scale.

Guiding and mentoring Junior team members.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ability to use photographs or invent new tactile representations.

Strong understanding of color schemes, shaders, Modeling and UV Mapping.

Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude

Good working knowledge of software’s such as Photoshop, Maya and Mari.

Background in Photography would be a plus.

Art Background. Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art, Illustration, Computer Graphics preferred
