About the Role & Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic Accounts Payable (AP) Team.
As a PTP Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Procure to Pay team. Your responsibilities will include managing invoice audits and ensuring compliance with our policies. You will be the guardian of our regional purchasing processes, ensuring they are timely and accurate.
In this role, you will also oversee and assist with the purchasing activities, working closely with our Regional Buyers. This position provides a valuable chance to collaborate with various departments, including Controllership, HR, Payroll, Finance, Master Data, and the Invoice Processing team.
The ideal candidate for this position is not only detail-oriented and highly motivated but also possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills. They should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and purchasing processes. A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential for success in this role.
What You Will Do
Conduct invoice audits and manage daily invoice processing for both domestic and international transactions, including tax calculations.
Handle submissions for Controllership.
Assist in managing procurement processes.
Provide guidance and support to buyers.
Assist in setting up supplier data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum: Close to graduate Accountancy or Business Administration or equivalent in working experience.
Ideal: Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration.
Proficiency in English at an intermediate level is required.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (specially Excel), SAP and Coupa is a plus.
Strong communication skills and clear diction.
At least 6 months of experience in accounts payable.
