The Audio Support Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting campus audio culture, systems, and procedures. This role focuses on both people and systems at each campus. The Audio Support Engineer will gain perspective, connect with local staff and contractors, and give the team the next steps that can lead to audio excellence and team growth through routine in-person campus visits. This role utilizes their skillset to deliver outcomes that align with the direction of their team to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

What You’ll Do
- Lead campus audio engineer contractors and Worship staff through routine in-person campus visits
- Recruit, vet, and onramp new audio contractors
- Partner with existing audio contractors to ensure campus needs are met
- Provide pastoral care for audio contractors
- Build relationships with the campus Worship Pastor, band, and front-of-house (FOH) audio engineer
- Identify potential areas of growth and present solutions to the campus team
- Communicate any next steps to local staff and the FOH engineer
- Partner with the Campus team to maintain audio culture
- Partner with all teams to ensure the maintenance of all audio equipment at each Campus
- Advocate for necessary equipment updates and replacements
- Be a liaison between the Campus teams and vendors for equipment
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to explain processes and foster relationships
- Maintain flexibility and initiate processes and projects while exemplifying a high level of customer service
- Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and following up on delegated tasks
- Strong creative skills, musical and artistic ability and knowledge, and songwriting and recording experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 – 5 years of work-related experience
- Proficient in audio-related equipment, specifically Yamaha audio consoles and all DAW software
