The Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing test automation scripts for web applications. They will analyze test scenarios, prepare test artifacts, maintain scripts, debug issues, and collaborate with teams. The role requires expertise in QA processes, Selenium Webdriver with C#, Page Object Model (POM), and xUnit/NUnit libraries, and experience in automating web-based applications and APIs. Must have:
  • Test planning, case design, execution, and reporting knowledge.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing test automation scripts that will ensure the quality and reliability of our web application. If you are an experienced software automation QA with a development mindset and commitment towards excellence in quality - this is the position for you!

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium Webdriver with C#, Page Object Model (POM), and xUnit/NUnit libraries
  • Analyze and identify test scenarios to be automated
  • Prepare testing artifacts such as test plans, strategies, test cases, and status reports
  • Maintain and enhance test automation scripts
  • Debug and troubleshoot failed test automation scripts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle


Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of QA processes, such as: test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting 
  • Experienced in using Selenium Webdriver, C# scripting language, Page Object Model (POM), and xUnit/NUnit libraries
  • Experience with planning, writing, executing, maintaining and troubleshooting test automation scripts
  • Experience with automation of web-based applications and API web services
  • Experience in designing and implementing parallel test execution strategies to optimize testing time and resources
  • Good knowledge of version control tools such as Git
  • Knowledge of Agile principles 
  • Previous experiences in the gaming industry considered an asset


Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience using tools like SOAP UI, Postman
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries
  • Experience with generating Selenium reports (such as Extent and Allure)
