We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to identify and close business opportunities. This role requires a self-starter and team player who is proactive in acquiring new business. The responsibilities include connecting with new prospects, selling media and content solutions, developing new business opportunities, creating sales strategies, maintaining client relationships, and managing account issues. The ideal candidate must be passionate about media sales, possess strong presentation skills, and have a detailed understanding of the industry. They must also effectively interface with Sales Heads of Departments, complete RFPs, and follow up on submissions to close deals. The candidate should be able to adapt to change and work effectively in a results-driven culture.
Must have:
  • 2 years of consultative advertising agency or media services sales experience
  • Experience presenting to key decision-makers
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity and manage multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

The ideal person is a self-starter, a team player and is hungry to prove their potential. We want proactive individuals who aren’t afraid to dive in head first and acquire new business. PLEASE NOTE ONLY PREVIOUS OOH/MEDIA SALES EXPERIENCE IS DESIRED. Connect with new prospects, sell media and content solutions Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients Develop a solid sales strategy to achieve the business goals and revenue targets Be well connected with the clients, advertisers and media agencies Independently execute the sales plan Maintain key business reports Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction. Coordinate, manage and resolve account maintenance issues. Must be able to effectively interface with Sales HOD’s Complete RFPs and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business. Must be passionate about media sales and have a detailed working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming. Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in accounts and their agencies, and have strong presentation skills to close the sale. Qualifications: 2 years of consultative advertising agency or media services sales experience, presenting to key decision makers. Advertising media agencies account for new business acquisitions, integrated cross platform media sales, digital media sales, OOH. Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture Flexible with ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic work environment Good written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred
