Paradox Interactive seeks an experienced Business Owner to lead and drive business growth for their management game franchises. Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, collaborating with internal and external studios, exploring new business opportunities, managing budgets and forecasts, and working with various publishing disciplines. The ideal candidate possesses senior-level experience in gaming product management or business development (5+ years), a solid understanding of business management and marketing, and a passion for management games. This role requires strong communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to maximizing player value and engagement.

Are you seeking an opportunity to excel in maximizing revenue, profit, and engagement within Paradox Interactive's unique portfolio of games? The next Business Owner we’re looking for is you!

As a Business Owner you are a leader and driver of a specific franchise. You are tasked to drive business, growth and innovation for Paradox Interactive’s new and existing management games. To achieve this you work with a number of disciplines within the Publishing department as well as side-by-side with the development studios to fulfill set ambitions and targets for the assigned franchise ensuring the business to thrive over years to come.

This involves setting strategic direction and collaborating closely with our first- and third-party studios to achieve the company's overall growth targets and key performance indicators.

In addition, you will actively seek and explore new business opportunities, both internally and externally, to foster revenue growth for the franchise(s). Leading experts from various Publishing disciplines (no managerial responsibilities), you will work together to reach the overall goals of the franchise(s), sharing valuable business and sales insights with related teams, and taking ownership of forecasts and budgets.


The skills we’re looking for…

  • Senior experience in gaming product management and business development, or at least 5+ years of experience within product development, marketing or production.

  • Solid understanding of business management

  • Holistic understanding of marketing and brand planning

  • Passion for management games

  • Experience as a team lead or manager.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
