Rixos Qetaifan Island North is seeking a Content Creator to produce engaging content showcasing its unique experiences and amenities. This role involves capturing photos and videos, writing compelling social media copy, editing content to match brand aesthetics, and planning/scheduling posts. The Content Creator will engage with followers, monitor trends, collaborate with marketing teams on content strategies, support influencer collaborations, and maintain an organized content library. The goal is to enhance the property's digital presence and guest engagement.
Must have:
  • Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, or social media management
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and trends
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable working on-site, often in outdoor and water-based environments

Rixos Qetaifan Island North comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description

Content Creator

This role is responsible for producing engaging content that showcases the unique experiences, amenities, and attractions of our property. From capturing vibrant visuals to writing compelling social media copy, you’ll play a key role in shaping our digital presence and enhancing guest engagement.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and produce high-quality photo, video, and written content for use across social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
  • Capture daily happenings, guest experiences, events, and behind-the-scenes moments at the hotel and waterpark.
  • Edit photos and videos to match brand aesthetics and tone.
  • Plan, create, and schedule posts across platforms.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages.
  • Monitor trends and recommend creative ways to elevate our content.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop content strategies that drive bookings, special promotions, and brand awareness.
  • Support influencer collaborations and onsite content shoots.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, image, and quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized content library for ongoing use.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, or social media management (portfolio required).
  • Strong proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working on-site, often in outdoor and water-based environments.
