About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Customer Marketing Manager to build and scale a customer marketing function that turns our customers into advocates and storytellers. This person will own and drive initiatives across customer advocacy, case studies, events, and community engagement—highlighting how real people and businesses are achieving success with our products.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Comms to amplify customer voices and insights that shape how we go to market and grow. This role is both creative and analytical, ideal for someone who thrives on building new programs, telling powerful stories, and driving measurable business impact.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and manage programs that identify and showcase customer success stories. Create case studies, testimonials, and video content in partnership with content, design, and product marketing teams.
  • Develop and launch scalable programs that deepen customer engagement and drive loyalty, such as reference programs, customer councils, and speaker opportunities.
  • Partner with the events team to highlight customer voices at industry events and webinars. Support community-building efforts that foster peer-to-peer learning among customers.
  • Gather insights through interviews, surveys, and events to inform product development, messaging, and marketing strategy. Act as the internal champion for customer perspectives.
  • Work closely with GTM, Product, and Success teams to align on shared goals, coordinate outreach, and ensure consistent messaging across touch points.
  • Define KPIs, track performance of customer marketing efforts, and iterate based on data and feedback.

About You:

  • 6+ years of experience in customer marketing, product marketing, or related roles, ideally in B2B tech or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of building customer advocacy and reference programs from the ground up.
  • Excellent storytelling and content development skills, with a knack for turning complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing video, written, and event content pipelines with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Empathy, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the customer journey.

Bonus If You:

  • Background in working with technical products or developer communities.
  • Experience in event planning or managing customer advisory boards.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and community platforms.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
