The Data Analyst is a member of JMA’s corporate analytics & data strategy team. Successful candidate will be able to assist with the people, technology and processes required to address current and future analytics needs. In this role, the candidate will help ensure that the business in its various departments understands the data landscape and is provided with insight and actionable information to drive performance, identify growth levers, and prepare for the future.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis and design of data and analytical solutions
- Work independently and with offshore resources to develop corporate reports and dashboards
- Aid in research, development, and implementation of appropriate data strategies, methodologies, and systems that lead to improved business performance and goals
- Provide management visibility into data-driven insights and key performance indicators and directly support executive leadership
- Work with business analytics specialists outside the IT department and partner with key stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making
- Foster a results-driven analytical culture throughout the organization
- Continuously assess JMA’s data landscape and tools against industry best practices
- Perform data validation and testing
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data management, development, or engineering
- Proficient with common data engineering tools, structured and unstructured data management systems
- Familiarity with SAP CDS, SAP S/4, SAP BDC, or SAP raw data
- Experience with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric
- Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Skill in planning, organizing, and developing data solutions
- Result oriented and fast learner
- Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop frameworks and solutions to questions and concepts
