Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall pipeline of media content production for Meow Wolf’s exhibitions - inclusive of live-action video, animation, gaming, VR/XR/Immersive content, and other emerging media opportunities
- Working closely with Exhibition senior creative leadership to ensure integrity of creative vision in line with Meow Wolf’s brand, aesthetics, and strategic goals including diversity.
- Supporting Content Creative Directors and other collaborators in achieving artistic and creative vision.
- Managing multiple production teams across multiple projects, both internal and external.
- Provide high level supervision to multiple productions at once and be able to manage in-house bandwidth to best achieve the goals.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Identify and manage external partners, studios and vendors and oversee production & delivery processes.
- Manage the in-house Media Content production resources including creating staffing plans, department budgets, coordinating with other MW departments, and working with an Exhibition’s project leaders to understand scope, schedule, and budget for coming productions.
- Give performance reviews, approve overtime, and all other functional leadership duties as required.
- Fostering an environment in which the creative talents of all creative contributors can flourish.
- Providing, and sharing with the production team, industry standard budgets, schedules and once projects are approved, helping to track costs, manage potential overages, and provide real time project updates to MW leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years industry experience as a film, television or new media producer.
- Thorough understanding of all the creative processes of media production, including pre-production, design, casting, technical & pipeline setup, post-production, screenwriting, directing, editing and music.
- Creative and collaborative mindset with a deep knowledge of cinematic language, storytelling and immersive experience.
- Experience working on SAG and union productions.
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information. Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, self-managing, and patient with yourself and others.
- Must be receptive to direction and perform well within a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and the intuition to make calm, solution-driven decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. This position also works in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/ or enclosed spaces.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical ability to walk, stand, and take stairs/slides/elevators. Employee may be required to remain in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
This position does require supervisory responsibility.
Travel
This position will require moderate travel (25%-30%)
