The Lead Client Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the client's business objectives. The Lead Client Account Manager will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the other account manager to ensure client satisfaction and success.
Must have:
  • Become an expert on Pinterest's advertising products and best practices, particularly lower-funnel solutions.
  • Educate clients on product features and benefits.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for major Greater China advertisers.
  • Proactively cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective account management, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Navigate through both business and technical challenges, identifying solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, Performance Solutions).
  • Mentor and guide other account managers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and the digital advertising landscape.

The Lead Client Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the client's business objectives. The Lead Client Account Manager will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the other account manager to ensure client satisfaction and success.

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert on Pinterest's advertising products and best practices, particularly lower-funnel solutions. Educate clients on product features and benefits.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for major Greater China advertisers, aligned with their business objectives and marketing goals across both web and app. Proactively identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
  • Proactively cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their unique needs and provide expert guidance and support.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective account management, upselling, and cross-selling. Meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns and improve client web and app performance. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients.
  • Navigate through both business and technical challenges by asking insightful questions, identifying potential solutions, and working with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Engineering, Measurement & Insights, Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, and Performance Solutions, to ensure client needs are met.
  • Mentor and guide other account managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Share best practices and provide ongoing support.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and the evolving digital advertising landscape, particularly within the Greater China web and app advertising sector.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+years of experience in digital advertising sales, managing high-value relationships, driving strategic learning agendas, and leading client communication.
  • Experience working with Greater China Export advertisers
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A solid technical foundation and relevant experience in both web and app advertising technologies.
  • Fluency in both business Mandarin and English.
  • Experience working with Performance Marketing (web and app) advertisers.
  • Comfortable with 30% of business travel for this position.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • As such, this role will need to be in the office or in front of our customers for in-person collaboration, typically 2 days per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance to our Singapore City based office.
