About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our website. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases to identify and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design and develop test scenarios and test cases to cover various aspects of the website, including functionality, usability, performance, and security.

• Test Execution:

• Execute test cases manually to identify and document defects.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and optimal performance across different platforms and devices.

• Defect Tracking and Reporting:

• Accurately document and report defects using a defect tracking system.
• Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and screenshots.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and improve the quality of the website.

• Test Automation:

• Collaborate with the automation team to identify suitable test cases for automation.
• Participate in the automation framework design and implementation.

• Performance Testing:

• Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor website performance metrics and analyze trends.

• Security Testing:

• Participate in security testing activities to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest security best practices and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
