Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (ZBR) at Zuora, you will play a crucial role in generating new business and building relationships with potential customers. You will partner with the marketing team to identify key accounts, build meaningful connections, develop strategic sales skills, and contribute to a team-driven culture. This role involves connecting with potential customers, understanding their needs, and helping them understand how Zuora can support their business goals. The role involves using cutting-edge tools to drive results and contributing to the business development strategy. Prior experience with sales methodologies, prospecting, or in a SaaS environment is a plus. You will be working in a hybrid model, with Tuesday & Wednesday at our Redwood City HQ and Monday, Thursday & Friday remotely or in the office.

Your Role & Impact

As a ZBR, you’ll play a crucial role in generating new business and building relationships with future customers. You will:

The pay range details represent the hourly pay rate for the posted position and a variable component. For this sales development role you will be paid hourly with overtime rates available. While we share a comprehensive range, a candidate’s final hourly pay rate will fall within these guidelines and will be determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to: qualifications of the candidate, job related knowledge, prior related experience, specific and unique skills, the location of the role, internal equity and internal budget. Base pay is only one element of Zuora’s Total Rewards Package. Additional elements may also include bonus/variable compensation, equity and comprehensive benefits, more details found here.
