The Salesforce Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for designing Salesforce solutions, translating business needs into powerful Salesforce-enabled processes, and overseeing solution delivery. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business processes, document requirements, and translate them into well-architected Salesforce solutions. The analyst will also manage project execution, facilitate Salesforce demos, develop training materials, and drive adoption of technology and process changes. The ideal candidate will have experience in core Sales CRM principles, experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Lightning, and strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional partners.

The Opportunity

“The Salesforce Senior Business Analyst is a process design and Salesforce expert that can speak the language of the business to intake business needs and then translate them into powerful Salesforce-enabled processes and solutions. With your previous Salesforce experience, you will hit the ground running, designing Salesforce solutions and implementing them on your own – or with our team of Salesforce Administrators, Developers and Architects – to drive GTM efficiency and meet the demands of FICO’s growing software business. You will be empowered to define the scope of projects and oversee solution delivery and will partner with Software operations team members to drive solution adoption and effective change management. As a member of a matrixed team, the Salesforce Senior Business Analyst must possess the desire and ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment, where taking ownership and initiative is the foundation for success.” – Business Operations, Sr. Manager

What You’ll Contribute 

  • Partner with multiple, cross-department business stakeholders as well as with internal IT counterparts to support the execution of process and system improvements leveraging existing enterprise-wide key systems (e.g., Salesforce, MCAE/Pardot, Oracle) and Sales tools (e.g., Xactly, Anaplan).

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deeply understand business processes and intake/capture/uncover business requirements – documenting, them in a clear, well-organized, and effective manner.

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform, supported by FICOs technical landscape.

  • Leverage Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate complex solutions in a clear and visual / visionary way, effectively gaining business support and buy-in, and building excitement.

  • Advise the business and articulate the benefits and challenges regarding a solution’s feasibility, user experience, and business impact.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all FICO Salesforce Sales solutions and data integrations, challenging the soundness of the data models and influencing integration design approaches.

  • Design and manage the execution of testing to ensure a quality solution is delivered.

  • Facilitate Salesforce demos, collecting stakeholder feedback and taking appropriate actions to coordinate revision of system design or business processes.

  • Guide the delivery of projects per established roadmaps – including project management, issue management and resolution, communication and change management.

  • Develop training materials and train regional operations teams (e.g., train-the-trainer) on how best to leverage FICO sales systems to complete their work.

  • Drive adoption of technology and process changes in partnership with regional and global operations teams. 

  • Deliver a business system experience that your customers regard as the best they’ve ever had.

  • Assist with data management, governance, and reporting, gathering reporting requirements leveraging Salesforce for data-driven decisions.

  • Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) for potential new solutions and business process flows.

  • Work within the framework of the Scrum standards to deliver business needs.

  • Coordinate post go-live user support, troubleshooting issues and identifying and resolving bugs.

What We’re Seeking

  • 10+ years of work experience, including at least 5+ years of business analysis, consulting, and/or administration on the Salesforce platform.

  • Strong subject matter expertise in core Sales CRM principles: Opportunity Management, Account and Contact Management, Lead Management, Quoting, Reporting and Dashboards.

  • Design and implementation experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Lightning required; experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud and Experience Cloud/Partner Communities preferred.

  • Experience with Salesforce AppExchange and implementing and upgrading Salesforce managed packages.

  • End-to-end understanding of Sales Demand Generation to Conversion, and Quote to Cash processes with understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and finance needs.

  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects/demands while driving and maintaining project execution and focus.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to drive and lead meetings around business systems and/or related topics as well as efficiently and effectively communicate with cross-functional partners from highly technical to business-oriented.

  • Experience leading system changes in Salesforce and data services tools in a production role.

  • Strong knowledge of data structures and the impact on reports, UI, and integrations.

  • Integration middleware experience: Informatica or similar data transfer tools is a plus.

  • Knowledge of data governance, internal controls, process compliance and permission security.

  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to shifting priorities and task assignments, while quickly learning and improving new applications and processes.

  • Experience analyzing and presenting data and information to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proven organizational, analytical planning and project management skills.

  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Skilled in leveraging the Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Experience working with agile methodologies in a technology consulting firm, or fast-growing startup environment is a plus.

  • Salesforce certifications are preferred, including current Salesforce Administrator Certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $97,000 to $152,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
