Position Description:

We are looking for a Senior Workday Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Workday. You will be offering technical support and assisting with design and implementation of global solution development.

This position will work collaboratively with human resources throughout global offices, technical teams, development teams, and Software vendors. This position will manage and maintain documentation to support the global business HRIS solution of Trek Bicycle Corporation.

Your key duties will include:

• Participate in the deployment of Workday driven solutions to various global markets.
• Continuously improve and optimize Workday configurations to meet the evolving needs of our global workforce.
• A growth mentality of taking on new challenges outside of your expertise.
• A desire to build and be part of a great team that learns from each other.
• Developing, maintaining and deploying Workday integrations, such as EIBs, RaaS solutions, and cloud connectors.
• Integrating various SAAS products such as Concur, JDE, Deputy, benefit providers, government agencies, and working with the business to bring on additional integrations.
• Designing and implementing web services using SOAP and REST protocols.
• Consulting with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Documenting the design, development, and deployment of supported workday projects.
• Understanding Workday-delivered and customized business process flows.
• Understanding Workday-specific security structures to ensure proper data governance and access.
• Understanding regional government regulations and working with legal experts to keep workday globally compliant. This also includes but not limited to GDPR, CDPA, collective bargaining, labor laws, and internal and external auditing.
• Experience through the Bi-Annual Feature Release process.
• Work hours split between local time and US Central Standard Time hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Document Transformations, EIB, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
• 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
• 2+ years of experience in JIRA or similar SDLC tool
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with the mindset of setting global standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with Workday Studio custom transformations
• Experience with Postman or other API tools
• Experience designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
