Job Summary
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer to join GoTo Financial's engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance fintech applications, focusing on creating the best user experience. Your work will span flagship products like Gojek, GoPay, Gopay Merchant, Tokopedia, and TikTokShop, ensuring millions of users have an optimal experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with product teams on web and mobile Flutter requirements, leading feature implementation across apps, improving existing app usability and performance, contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and participating in production support.
Must have:
- 3-5 years of mobile app development in web
- Knowledge of Next.js, React, and Vue.js
- Experience architecting consumer-facing apps
- Familiar with SDLC and Agile practices
- Strong UI and UX best practices
Good to have:
- Experience with backend development (Java/Kotlin/Nodejs/Go)

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance fintech applications, focussing on building the best possible user experience. You will work on our flagship products across Goto, including Gojek, GoPay, Gopay Merchant, Tokopedia, and TikTokShop, ensuring our millions of users get the best experience.
What You Will Do
- Work with our product team to solve requirements related to customer journeys Web and mobile Flutter
- Lead projects to implement features across multiple apps
- Improve the customer experience for our existing apps by optimizing the usability, performance, and code quality
- Contribute to architecture decisions across teams and shape the technical direction
- Mentor and grow other developers to build a culture of learning and innovation
- Participate in production support and respond to alerts and escalations in customer support
What You Will Need
- 3-5 years of mobile app development in web
- Knowledge of building apps in Next.js (preferred), React, and Vue.js
- Experience architecting and maintaining a consumer-facing app, including release planning, monitoring, and testing practices
- Familiar with the entire SDLC, and Agile project management practices like Scrum
- Strong sense of good UI and UX best practices
- (Bonus) Experience with backend development using Java/Kotlin/Nodejs/Go etc
