About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Engineer to be a cornerstone of a small agile team. You'll play a pivotal role in architecting and building an innovative mobile application designed to redefine how users are rewarded. The Quest:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain a React Native mobile app.

• Craft clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.

• Leverage SDKs strategically instead of reinventing the wheel.

• Collaborate with team members to define and implement features.

• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive user interfaces.

• Optimize app performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Integrate seamlessly with backend services.

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies.

• Guide architectural decisions and contribute to establishing best practices.

The Skills:

• 7+ years of relevant professional software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Deep expertise in React Native development on iOS and Android.

• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.

• Familiarity with resolving third-party dependency conflicts.

• Able to guide architecture decisions.

• Able to write well-documented and clean JavaScript code.

• Able to maintain working hours close to the Pacific Time Zone.

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools for mobile apps.

• Experience with push notifications and other mobile-specific features.

• Familiarity with WebSocket APIs, webviews within React Native, and state management libraries (like Redux).

• Familiarity with native build tools (like Xcode or Gradle).

• Understanding of algorithmic complexity.

• Broader web development experience.
