The Strategic Account Director will drive revenue growth by selling high-ROI solutions to enterprise customers. This role involves strategic account management and new business acquisition, focusing on renewal expansion and acquiring new clients. The ideal candidate should excel in consultative selling, managing complex organizations, and positioning solutions as key business drivers. Key responsibilities include generating pipeline, managing territory with accurate forecasting, partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver ROI, conducting in-depth discovery conversations, and collaborating with internal teams to align on goals.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of SaaS selling experience.
  • Experience selling deals of $50k+ average size.
  • Experience selling a multi-product solution end-to-end.
  • Experience managing $1M+ USD in annual quota.
  • Proven experience in self-prospecting.
  • Comfortable with sales methodologies.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Account Director to drive revenue growth by selling high-ROI solutions to enterprise customers. This role requires a balance of strategic account management and new business hunting, ensuring both renewal expansion and net-new logo acquisition. The ideal candidate will excel in consultative selling, multi-threading across complex organizations, and positioning our solutions as critical business drivers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline generation to grow the revenue within existing accounts and generate opportunities with new accounts.
  • Ability to manage and grow a territory with accurate and realistic forecasting.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders within the client to deliver clear ROI and build a joint plan to drive additional customer value and Bazaarvoice revenue.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to uncover customer challenges and position solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • Working collaboratively internally with teams (marketing, customer success, pre-sales etc.) to align on client and Bazaarvoice goals.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • SaaS selling experience or equivalent (5+ years)
  • Experience selling $50k+ average deal size.
  • Experience selling a multi-product solution end-to-end (prospecting all the way to close).
  • Experience managing $1M+ USD in annual quota.
  • Proven experience in self-prospecting.
  • Comfortable with sales methodologies and frameworks such as BANT, MEDDPICCC (MEDDIC) and SPIN selling.
  • Effectively creates and articulates return on investment in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both the consumer and Bazaarvoice.
