Thanks for your interest in working on our team! Adtran in Gdynia is looking for a System Verification Test Engineer for the System Solution and Verification Team. The position involves designing, developing, and conducting a variety of tests, with an emphasis on functional testing. The role requires building solutions based on ADTRAN equipment and collaborating with third-party equipment in technologies such as PON, Carrier and Metro Ethernet, switching, and routing. Additionally, we test new software and hardware products as the first customer to ensure quality. Tasks and Responsibilities
Test case analyses (functional and customer-related)
Development and implementation of test topologies
Performing manual and automated tests
Documentation of test procedures and results
Defect reporting and root cause analysis
Collaborating with the development team to resolve issues
Maintaining the laboratory’s infrastructure and hardware
Bachelor's degree in in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar faculty
Good written and spoken English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Linux OS
Familiarity with key technologies such as PON, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Routing
Understanding of functional and non-functional testing methods

Network certification or expertise in operating equipment from manufacturers including Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, Arista, or others
Test automation experience (Python, Robot Framework)
Knowledge of network protocols such as 802.1Q, 802.1ad, DHCP / PPPoE, IGMP / IGMP Snooping, LACP, ERP, Y1731, OSPF, BGP, etc.
Ability to operate network traffic generating equipment, such as Ixia, Spirent (STC), Viavi Solutions, and JDSU
