This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving product adoption and growth for mid-market businesses. You'll work directly with agencies and advertisers, managing multiple accounts, improving client relationships, and achieving business growth goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to increase product adoption, prioritizing customer experience, sharing performance-enhancing suggestions, and providing consultative advice to maximize advertiser ROI. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for supporting local clients. Experience in sales, marketing, or business analytics within a technology or media company is required. A deep understanding of online media, combined with strong communication and analytical skills, is crucial for success in this role.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years sales/marketing/analytics experience
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Client relationship management
  • Business growth and goal achievement
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube
  • Experience managing advertising campaigns

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with sales in a technology, advertising, media sales, or internet environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Ability to grow in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customers business driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve the agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Manage business growth and productivity goals, and drive in quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with account strategist.
