Business Analyst

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an outstanding Business Analyst with strong experience in writing technical documentation. Must also be comfortable writing business requirements and technical documents in English. As your first assignment, you will focus on maintaining and enhancing developer-facing documentation in our Dev Portal. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and developer experience teams to ensure all technical content is clear, up-to-date, and accessible. This is a fast-paced job with room for significant career growth. 

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and Technical Writing experience, and an advanced level of English to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Elicit and discuss requirements with stakeholders from the client side including business, functional and non-functional requirements.

• Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation in Markdown, including integration guides, SDK/API references, and best practice articles.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical information.

• Manage documentation version control using Azure Repos (Git).

• Propose and commit updates directly to the documentation repository (e.g., .md files).

• Participate in code reviews related to documentation changes.

• Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all developer documentation.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of our documentation standards and workflows.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, including writing technical documentation for a developer audience.

• Proficiency in Markdown and Git-based workflows (especially using Azure DevOps or Azure Repos).

• Familiarity with API documentation, SDKs, and software product workflows.

• Experience working in developer portals or internal documentation hubs.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Initiative and drive to do great things.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with static site generator Docusaurus.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how documentation fits into deployment workflows.

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, or YAML.
