At TelevisaUnivision, we are looking for a General Accountant Jr. Producer to join our Record to Report team! 

The Record-to-Report (R2R) area focuses on financial and accounting management, encompassing transaction recording, accounting, financial statement preparation, account analysis and reconciliation, compliance with regulations, financial reporting, and financial risk management. Its goal is to provide accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.

About You: 

A junior accountant should have basic accounting knowledge, financial transaction skills, and good communication and teamwork abilities.

Your Day-to-Day: 

  • As a Junior General Accountant in the Record to Report (R2R) function within a GBS, responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end closings, performing account reconciliations, supporting intercompany transactions, maintaining fixed asset records, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards such as IFRS or GAAP. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing financial data for reporting purposes, and contributing to continuous process improvements within the shared services framework. 

If You Have: 

  • Years of Experience 

  • 1–2 years in accounting or finance roles 

  • 6–12 months specifically in R2R or shared services environment 

  • Skills 

  • SAP ERP or Oracle Financials 

  • Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas) 

  • Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail 

  • Time Management and Prioritization 

  • Basic Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP 

  • English (Intermediate to Advanced level) 

  • Team Collaboration in Multicultural Environments 

  • Problem Solving and Process Improvement
