The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for transferring projects from Nordson L.O.B, communicating with contacts and suppliers, providing engineering support, identifying VA/VE projects, choosing alternative parts, working cross-functionally, and designing production jigs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or automation engineering and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing equipment and automation.
Must have:
Transfer projects from Nordson.
Communicate with contacts and suppliers efficiently.
Sustain Engineering support on existing products manufacturing.
Identify & implement VA/VE project.
Design jig / fixture for production.
Good to have:
Good skill on project management.
Good skills in 3D (Solidworks, Inventor etc.) and 2D draft, familiar with GD&T.
Good manufacturing processes knowledge in machining, Sheet metal, plastic forming etc.
Good knowledge of mechanical engineering – material, tolerance, pneumatic, motion parts etc.
Knowledge of VA/VE, KANZAN etc.
Familiarity with BOM, ECN/ECO and other manufacturing systems and processes
Familiarity of ERP systems, such as EFACS, SAP etc.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Hardworking, self-motivated, self-discipline, self-learning, and works well under pressure.
Good interpersonal, communication problem-solving skill as well as strong team work spirit.
