The Regional Account Manager (RAM) at Forescout is responsible for managing existing accounts, prospecting new customers, and maximizing revenue. This role requires creating and executing sales strategies, generating accurate sales forecasts, and consistently exceeding revenue targets. Responsibilities include managing and growing customer relationships, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, delivering sales presentations, managing the entire sales cycle, developing account plans, and utilizing Salesforce.com for updates. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enterprise IT cybersecurity sales, particularly with major accounts, and experience closing complex, multi-year deals. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a business-oriented mindset are essential.
Must have:
  • 5+ years solutions sales experience in enterprise IT cybersecurity
  • 3+ years managing major account sales
  • Meeting/exceeding sales objectives
  • Closing complex, multi-year deals
  • Upselling/penetrating strategic accounts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Salesforce or similar CRM experience

What You Will Do 

  

Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Regional Account Manager to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. 
 
As a Regional Account Manager (RAM) at Forescout, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts as well as prospecting new customers, maximizing revenue for the company. Tasked with creating, developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region as well as generating accurate and realistic sales forecasts.
 
The RAM is expected to deliver consistent revenue performance and growth and will need to opportunistically look at the market for breakout revenue opportunities.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
 
  • You will manage, develop and grow strategic prospects and existing customer relationships. 
  • You will identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within an assigned territory.  
  • You will develop and deliver accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers and channel partners. 
  • You will manage all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, development of the customer relationships at all levels and implementation of the account plans. 
  • You will deliver on a set objective(s) to achieve billings and growth targets 
  • You will develop strategic account plans and provide detailed updates in Salesforce.com 
  • You will effectively manage internal resources available to promote teamwork to drive success 
 
 
What You Bring to Forescout

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of experience.  
  • 5+ years of solutions sales experience in an enterprise IT environment focused on Cybersecurity.  
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing major account sales. 
  • 3+ years of success meeting and exceeding sales objectives/KPI’s provided by leadership. 
  • Must have the capability to close complicated deals and multi-year deals from discovering sales opportunities to contract completion. 
  • Must be able to up-sell strategic / custom solution to a strategic account as well as penetrating and closing strategic targets. 
  • Must have a business and results-oriented mindset, and excellent inter-personal skills.  
  • Customer-oriented and a natural leader. 
  • Previous experience building key customer relationships in the local market. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • A background working in a technical role is highly preferred. 
  • Use of Salesforce or similar CRM tool for opportunity, lead and forecast management. 
  • Experience Selling IOT and OT focused solutions.
