Rippling is seeking an IT Product Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Mid-Market IT Account Executives. This role is crucial for the growth of the IT sales team and will involve managing, coaching, and scaling account executives. You will assist your team in strategic sales cycles, monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure monthly targets are met and exceeded. The position also involves participating in hiring, interviewing, and training new team members. Rippling provides a unified platform for HR, IT, and Finance, simplifying workforce management.

About the role


As our IT Product Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Mid-Market IT Account Executives for a fast-paced, high-growth company. Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the IT sales team, the training and development of your team, and you’ll be an integral part of Rippling’s growth. This position reports to our Director of IT Sales. 


What you will do

  • Manage, coach and scale a team of Account Executives
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Rippling IT
  • Monitor sales performance: activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment
  • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
  • Lead team to achieve and exceed monthly targets
  • Participate in hiring and interviewing process, as well as training and ramp-up of new team members


What you will need

  • An experienced sales manager with 3-5 years of experience in tech sales
  • A top performer with a consistent track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor
  • Experience selling IT software and/or security related products
  • Knowledge of common IT tools and ability to learn new technologies 
  • Able to accurately forecast team performance
  • Motivated with a desire to learn and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Rippling highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture.  For office-based employees (employees who live within a 40 mile radius of a Rippling office), Rippling considers working in the office, at least three days a week under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.


This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* US-based employees will be 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay for the range listed below.


A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
