Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Lead to join our Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities, with a focus on time and labor posting, pre-paid and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements tailored to the Fluence organization.
- Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Corporate and Regional Accounting teams to streamline accounting processes, implement new systems and technologies, and ensure that financial practices align with industry best practices.
- Support the Corporate Accounting team in continuous process improvement initiatives.
· Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.
Qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field and MBA.
- · Chartered Accountant or Semi qualified Chartered Accountant.
- · 6-8 years of experience in general accounting areas
- · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- · Extensive experience with ERP systems (eg, NetSuite, SAP)
- · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- · Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
